Alan Armstrong
1989 – 2018 (retired)
After many years working in Manufacturing, Alan went to work as a Rep covering Connecticut, Upstate NY, and the Bronx NY for "Janco Technologies", a New Jersey based firm. Alan became successful as he developed his sales and management systems before reaching an agreement to “buy out” the CT territory and grow into all of New England. In 1990 Alan founded our Rep firm as "Janco New England", which later was renamed to Power Component Sales.
Kathy Armstrong
1989 – 2018 (retired)
Kathy worked alongside Alan as a managing member of the company and primary bookkeeper. She assisted with setting up their new business and putting in place many of the administrative systems used to run the company today.
Kathy Hallene
1991 – 2018 (retired)
Kathy was PowerComp’s primary customer service representative for many years, working to keep the flow of business moving and insuring we always offer the best possible service to our Principals and customers. Kathy’s easy going way and great sense of humor always kept the mood light, making PowerComp a fun work environment.
Mike Murphy
1993-2001, 2010 – 2024 (retired)
Mike came to PowerComp early on and left for a time before returning to finish his career as an LLC member, Distribution Manager and Sr. Outside Salesperson. Mike had been given many different responsibilities over the years and had embraced all of them, as well as his willingness to take on the extra travel when needed and a sense of humor that made his presence always an adventure.
